Oak Brook Terrace's Hidden Gem Since Day One
Brothers Carlos and Edgar grew up in the heart of Mexico City, where authentic flavors aren’t a selling point—they’re just dinner. They brought that standard to Oak Brook Terrace and built Terrace Cantina on a simple idea: cook real food, pour real drinks, and treat every person who walks in like family. Walk in for the first time and you'll get the same welcome as a regular â probably a handshake, definitely a recommendation, and a genuine "welcome home" from whoever's behind the bar.
The mole? Homemade from a recipe straight out of Puebla, Mexico — not from a jar, not from a mix. The tequila wall? 94+ bottles, all additive-free, because quality matters more than quantity. The birria? Slow-cooked until it falls apart, served in tacos, egg rolls, and a consomé that people drive across DuPage County for.
